The gospel of Jesus Christ opens up to all mankind a
tremendous door of opportunity. This good news has to do with the revelation of
God's Son as a person and the great love He demonstrated for us as He went to
the cross.
Through Jesus Christ, man is forgiven of his sin, set free, and given a new
beginning. We are then invited by God Himself to draw near to Him and to relate
to Him in real fellowship, love, intimacy and purpose. The gospel mission can be
summed up in two phrases: "To Know Him…. To reveal Him…."
Bethany Christian Fellowship was called into existence March 17th, 1985 to
preach the wonder and beauty of the person of Christ as Savior, Bridegroom and
Lord.
On SUNDAY MORNINGS we come together to cultivate an openness to the presence of
the Lord by drawing near to Him in prayer, worship and to hear His Word.
Various PRAYER GROUPS are held throughout the week with a conviction that
'prayerless work will fail to win the crown.'
During the week we meet in various homes. These HOME-GROUPS can focus on any
of the following: prayer, worship, personal ministry, devotions, fellowship,
dinners, and outreach. It is through these groups that the church members are
served, personal needs are met, relationships are built, and the lost are reached.
Each group meets at different locations in the Twin Tier area.
Our YOUTH GROUP focuses on fun, food, serving others, and building relationships
with the Lord and others. (Ages 13 -19.)
The MEN'S GROUP meets weekly to build friendships, offer support, encouragement,
and accountability regarding issues men face.
Along with our spiritual emphasis, we love the outdoors and enjoy picnics,
camping, swimming and other family building events.
