The Spirit's mission in the earth is to build us together into relationships of
love that God can inhabit.
By the force of His indwelling love, He will seek to devastate our natural
tendencies toward independence, isolation, self-centeredness, self-aggrandizement,
accusation, gossip, bitterness and unforgiveness.
The true test of 'spirituality' is not the measure of our
'charisma and giftedness', but in how well we get along with others.
In building people, we seek to blend leadership development with character,
integrity, anointing, and accountability. Our priority is people first, secondly
programs.
To Serve speaks of our commitment to put love into
action. We want to do something with what we believe. Servant-hood is the
greatest expression of love.
God'S Ultimate Purpose is not to just populate heaven,
but to see His will done in the earth. We seek to participate with the Lord in the
fulfillment of His prayer; "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in
heaven."
For This Generation tells of our commitment to know
what the Lord is saying to His people in these last days as we prepare for His
second coming.
OUR MISSION:
The Mission of this church is to participate WITH THE LORD in the
advancement of the Kingdom of God through the work of a local church in communicating
the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and in deed. Our obedience to the 'Heavenly vision'
is five fold:
1. To open men's eyes.
2. To turn them from darkness to light
3. From the power of satan to God
4. To teach forgiveness of sin
5. And the possession of an inheritance.
We will work out our mission through 'Home Groups'
and our Sunday gatherings, youth activities and various other outreaches as the
Lord shall direct.
